Well, it's taken the best part of 3 years, 2 work shops and a ****e load of foreign (tax avoided hopefully) EUR/USD etc, but the R is in it's final stages of completeness.

Good to hear you're coming back soon-ish champ.
Car's amazing as per usual. I remember being gobsmacked at the x-speed MC a few months back now.
What's really amazing is the power delivery, 500+rwhp from 150-200+km/h is crazy.
Good luck with it this time round mate.

A quick update.
I've now got a copy of the most recent tune since installing the new 272IN cam (previously 264 duration). Interestingly enough, we managed to pick up better response AND greater top end at a LOWER boost. Essentially the Nismo fuel pump and the 680cc injectors are now pretty well maxed out, although we are still managing to keep a safe 11:1 ARF at peak load.

Although I'm sure the terbs could probably supply enough air to crack the 600 hp mark, I'm happy with the power that I've got now (although I've said this a few times before lol), as the intended purpose is really for track days and cruises rather than drags. Ant tells me that with the large amount of torque combined with the newly rebuilt transfer case, torque steer is now (in his words) a "real handful" when boost comes on. Depending on how I find it when I'm back, I may fit a front LSD.
Looking forward to catching up with the "usual suspects" in late Jan.
Cheers
Gav
Gav are you back for good?
I know we spoke about it at your "20th" bday party :D
