Hi Everyone, newbie here saying G'Day.
couldnt find an "introduction" thread so thought this would be second best. My name's Tom and I'm studying chemical engineering at curtin in perth. i live at the beach, at uni (usual found in the tav) and underneath/in my car. anyways these are my cars:
1977 Datsun 260z
My Dad and i race this car fairly succesfully in hillclimbs, sprints and regularities.
the car is running a nissan l28 motor bored 60 thou. it also features: ported, polised, blue printed motor, high comp pistons, lightened flywheel and crank, triple weber carbs, high lift cam, msd 6000 series digital ignition, extractors, 2 1/4" high flow exhaust, performance camshaft, adjustable cam gears, 5 speed close ratio gearbox, gtr viscous 4.4 lsd, 2 pot 2006 falcon XR8 front brakes, single piston r31 skyline rear brakes, koni shocks, king springs, comp anti-roll bars, momo race seat and 4 point race harness.
PB at wanners is a 1:13 on the long track with low compression (before currently in progress rebuild and bore. chasing under a 1:10) and a 14.8 quarter mile with motor in same state (looking to crack 13's but low 14 will do).

2002 Mitsubishi Mirage
bunky to get to uni and back cause the z is off the road far to often to be reliable. bog standard and thats how its staying.

would like to get out to a few cruises in the mirage (i REALLY dont need a yellow sticker adorning the front windscreen on the z) and get to know a few more like minded people.
