I dislike rising rate regs as do a few tuners.

nismo ones appeaer fine..
What do they say is wrong with rising rate fuel regulators?
There is nothing "wrong" with RRFPRs, but incompetent tuners cant get them to run properly :)

As Balls said nothing "wrong" with them. Just they are a pain and limit you.
If you change your boost level after your tune with a rising rate your tune goes to hell. Fix's you to one boost level.

Excuse my ignorance but whats the advantage of running a adjustable fuel presure regulator. By uping the fuel presure can I get more fuel in. Sorry I don't want to hijack I just want to know the advantage to putting one on my car.

Yer basically for tight arse people that don't want to do injectors or spend $ on ecu tuning.
I can't actually see much need to get a fuel reg to be honest.
I only got one in mine when my 850cc injectors ran out and I really didn't want to step up to 1000cc's. Tweak of the reg for racing gave the fuel I wanted. Then wind if back down for the street tune.

well im gettin injectors and tuning i just figured id need one as i hav an atmo fuel rail and reg so it might not take to kindly to boost as it would only normally run on vacuum ...
i also dont know jack about the whole fuel reg application.

if your getting injectors i'd scrounge up a s/h stock toyo turbo reg that bolts on, then you can install and forget it :)
Getting rid of your atmo one is a good idea .

how much more juice can they squeeze out ? is it worth it ?

as far as im aware it gives you more fuel for smaller injectors by forcing out more fuel under same injection pulse width. But to create more pressure you have to restrict flow to give you that pressure.Correct?
Yeah, you have to restrict the flow of the return line going back to the tank, which forces more fuel through the injectors.

hahha ive got a nismo fuel reg... looks bloody huge so hopefully it'll do its job
warlboro, to surge to 044 to nismo fuel reg to 550's in the car should be enough fuel hahah...
rather be safe than sorry :)

By increasing fuel presure won't push more fuel through a standard injector, it will only atomize the fuel better. The reason to fit an adjustable fuel presure reg is that larger injector will require more fuel and a standard reg won't keep a constant fuel presure at higher revs

Pumpin up pressure can also change spray patterns which can f**k things up real bad. Put a sard PFR on there and get the right sized injectors that you need to run at their proper pressure, don't pump up the pressure to get more outta them as its a band-aid fix
