issues with second stage turbosmart boost controller ( no higher boost)

installed a turbosmart dual stage, i get 1st stage boost hit the rocket switch and no 2nd stage it stays the same boost as 2st stage.

------ power supply (cigg lighter)
------ earthed to rocket switch (ON)
------coming off the OFF side of the switch i have earthed to the body.
Does this sound right guys?
is it possible my cigg power is not working? can someone suggest another power supply. (boost can be changed on 1st stage though)

if I had no 12v power would i be able to change the boost ???

might sound a bit stupid but have u set the 2nd stage boost level? It might need to b adjusted to increase boost.

yep done that. even with a huge increse in the boost setting it does not change.

solved. was not geting power from cig lighter.
