Don't know if they do powdercoating, but pretty sure they do painting.

Are they one or two/three piece wheels?
Dependent on that, you can disassemble them, have the centres sandblasted which will prep the surface and make it suitable for painting as the chrome would be an issue otherwise. If they're one piece you'll need some heavy duty gaffer tape to place over any chrome pits so the centre section you want painted can be plasted then painted.
As 'X' said, R & L powdercoaters in Osborne park can do the blasting and painting in-house. They'll powdercoat or 2pak.

Yeah I’m not too sure if they are 2 piece as I was also wondering that as then I could powder coat them at any place is there anyway to find out they are WORK VS-SD? I gave r and l powder coaters a call and he said that with keeping the chrome lip it would be hard to powder coat instead he referred me on to Wheelgleam to get them just painted black but he also said that they have allot of work right now, alliance rim repair also have to much work and aren’t taking anything on for another four weeks, been calling around like mad, just keep trying.

One of the members on Perth-WRX works there - nickname is subistylin or something along those lines. I have seen their work, not bad at all. Will be taking my stockers there eventually

more then say, $600?
looking at a set of weds sa70's
bronze ones are roughly 600 less then the blc (crazy shadow chome looking ones), but i heard that blc finish is impossible to fix if its stuffed

Wheel gleam does it, it would be close to $600 maybe a bit more depending if the wheels need to be sand blasted.
Give him a call and find out.

Haha sweet. Your getting it done pretty cheap then. Most places I've read of are charging about $500. Do yours need repairing like his did though?
SSICK

nah,the rims are like brand new. 1 tiny little abrasion on 1. fuckall.

well its been 3 weeks since i dropped my rims off and they only baked them on friday, they bubbled due to the previous coating, so sent them off to get sandblasted and its a no deal as it could weaken them......
anyone know of any methods of stripping a rim without blasting them?

Soda blasting? far less abrasive but may take forever to get it off.
