True story..

A few years ago, we had an Italian guy working for us delivering bread, and his family was from the South of Italy i.e. he had dark skin. He also had an uncanny resemblance to a coon, and was quite incoherent in the way he spoke, meaning he sort of sounded like one too (but with a slightly Italian accent).

We put him on our Eastern delivery run i.e. Cannington, Queens Park, etc. He was the only delivery driver we had who didn't get hassled by all the native's hanging around the back alleys behind shops!

I'm sure many would have been much better off if they were 'stolen' rather than staying with abusive families etc (much like the Army intervention going on in NT/North Qld etc now). Stolen generation is a load of shit, AND they want compensation? being ALIVE today would be enough compensation I would think. Correct me if I'm wrong, but all the ones that think they were affected badly by the stolen generation seem to be the educated ones? ie: they wouldn't be educated if they weren't 'stolen'?
