Why would you bring that up, you do know a Ford Sierra placed 1st and 2nd in the 89 Tooheys 1000 right?

The HR31 came in 3rd.

1991 + 1992 was the year the Skyline conquered the mountain.

i didnt see any 'bugeyes', but i saw a couple of 'peanut eyes', i wonder why they dont use the 2.5l 'pignose' ?

coz it would pop :P
the bugeye was a yellow sti (think it came 2nd last haha)
interestingly they didnt even use an 05 STI (which has DCCD and potentially less understeer) which *may* have been a bit closer to the evo's

for all the subi bashers, i have a best motoring here
has new sti vs previous sti vs evo 9 gsr vs the two new evo's one sst one manual
they finished in the same order i just listed them, with the sst model coming last
the newest sti also started from last on the grid, chopped them all
impressive shit

isnt that sti the 2.0 litre one (that we wont get here), & didnt the evo's start behind the sti's in that race?
i assume it was the one with the drift king driving the 2.0 sti

dont get me wrong i luv wrx's/sti's (well up to buy-eye anyway)

yeah it was the jap spec one
the 2008 sti started last, the 2007 started first
with the evo's in between
and yeah tsuchiya is driving the 08 sti
is a good vid
i downloaded 4 episodes of best motoring but just sorted flicked through that one to the cool bits lol
wish i understood jap though
