hello people
just a quick question for anyone out their who might know..
id like to know if the backing plates off an R32 GTR or any other model skyline that runs 324mm front rotors will fit onto a s15 200sx?
reason i wonder is that i would prefer to put something back on to keep the ABS sensor and what not covered from Dirt etc..
any help would be great.
thanks
john

im not after weather the calipers or not will fit, i want to kow if the backing plates will fit onto the s15 hubs? the backing plate being the big dust like cover thing that stops shit getting into the abs sensor etc..
btw, u wouldnt happen to have a set of r33 brembos if so pm me a price otherwise ill just put on my R32 gtr ones..

My stock backing plates were "trimmed" down to fit the big a** GReddy brakes I now have, which are larger than the ones you mentioned .... so it's possible you may just need to do the same.
Are 32 GTR brakes even an upgrade?

rotors are 16mm bigger in diameter, 6mm thicker.
r32 vspec gets the same spec brembo's as the 33 gtr

yes, i have finally finished doing the conversion now, with braided brake lines and i must say its a noticable diffrence in stopping power. Next thing to do is the rears as the std s15 ones are 258mm x9mm and the r32 gtr ones are 298mm or something from memory and 30mm thick..
i will also be changing the calipers to the r32/33 ones however the handbrake will be the tricky part as on the s15 they run off the handbrake and the skylines run like a drumbrake style setup handbrake..
maybe hydrualic is the way to go?
