Nope, Sony Aus aren't bringing them in at all.
Can't even buy them from Sony.
Anyone got one available?

Forgive my lunacy, but whats so special about the 60gb version apart from the fact its backwards compatible ?
I see so many people chasing them.
If its purely HDD capacity - buy the 40gb and stuff a 1Tb drive in....

PS2 engine (backwards compatible)
Memory Stick Slot
4 USB ports (instead of 2)
Not that keen on buying off e-bay, would rather pick-up. Also looking for a PAL unit. Half the e-bay ones are NTSC. The PAL units go for $1400+.

No shit people are paying more for the 60G that they could be bought new when they first came out?

Whoa, that expensive? Why not attach one of those USB hubs and USB memory card readers or something if you need that extra stuff? And yeah, chuck a bigger HDD in, and all you'd be missing is backwards compatibility...

I'm after a 60gb.
I want the backwards compatibility. Why pay over $600 bucks for an inferior system?
Cheers for the opinion, but if you don't know of one for sale you're not helping me.
