Anyone know how to set this sorta thing up, or know of any guides on how to do it?

Saw some guy with it on a cruise on the weekend, thought it was really cool lol.

So in winter you can stat your car up and get it nice and warm inside before jumping in :)

My Stagea has it as a factory option but i didnt get the remote so cannot operate it. I think they use it in really cold climates to warm up the car before you drive it - as said above.

Can purchase them locally, but they need to be installed by a certified automotive electrician.

Anyone know if these are deffinately illegal? I have heard conflicting stories. Some say no altogether, and others say you're fine as long as you tell your insurance company.

To look like a mad dog on cruises, and also to give barefoot Aboriginals a chance to drive your car away before you get into it.

I have remote start on mine, it was on auto watch alarm i got fitted. funniest thing is starting it as people walk past.

Would want to hope it has neutral start switch of some sort so you dont forget and leave it in gear lol

The part that is illegal is having a car running while you're not in it in a public space.

Yes neutral start is one of the switches in it. Alarm basically checks to make sure gearbox is in neutral(or park if automatic) then starts. If it's in gear, no chance.

I like remote ignition I had it on my s13. It was great for those awkward moments at the shops when deros and dreamers wanted to ask you all about your car. I would just start the car and be like "Oh my car wants to leave, sorry" and the sound would drown them out, then they get the idea and leave. :D
