looking for opinions on ITS turbo's
all i know is these turbos are made in America by Innovative Turbo Systems and are/were sold locally in Australia by Unique Autosports (Castle Hill) and per4formanz in Perth.

googled but cant find much at all, only a few lines on the unique autosports site, no wheel sizes etc.

i tried searching on here but hard to narrow down a search using 'its'

thanks

does anyone know if the '60' in the name ITS 60-1 refers to the turbine exducer bore size?
cause my exducer bore measures 60mm (or a bit more)

A workmate has a 33gtst with an ITS dual ceramic ball bearing centre.. I don't know the model though. Paid muchly for it but seems real happy.

ITS non BB ie plain bearing 60-1 should be ok easy to get parts for
if its their dual ceramic ball bearing it will be great till you have a problem.

had ITS GT72 on a 13bt thats been sitting at the turbo shop for the last 1.5 years cos ITS went broke so can't get parts for it

Angry13 on Silviawa had a ITS turbo made 399.7rwhp
swapped for a equivilant Garret 3540 (i think) to crack the 400 mark
he said the Garret made more power and spooled faster then the ITS

I'm using an ITS T60-1 turbo. from what I can gather it was also recommended by Grant at Per4manz. I'm really happy with the set up. Relatively fast spoool and great power. Mines rated at about 550hp from memory.

mine is plain bearing which im happy about & it has 76mm OD comp wheel, 63mm OD turbine wheel.
do you know if yours has the ball bearing upgrade?

I'm sure mines the BB upgrade - although plain bearing rings a bell. I'll have a closer look tongight, and I can measure up the comp and turbine wheel dimensions. By OD I'm assuming you mean 'Overall Dimension'?

Lump

yeah, od = outside dimension.
sounds like yours would be very similar

Yep I'd say they're the same. But I will confirm tonight and let you know. I know I can comfortably run up to about 28-29psi boost limited by the engine (not the turbo). I think their well worth the money, and from all accounts are a quality unit.
