Bolt on spacers are a bit of a grey area.
Alloy spacers of any type are illegal as they can possibly flex and bend under pressure.
If you get some billet steel ones made up which are hub centric (centering boss) it is possible to get a modification permit from the Welshpool pits. You will also need a good excuse for running them as “offset fail” does not work.
Brake upgrades with no wheels to fit is always a good one ;)

Your ED would have had hub adapters, not spacers if it was to fit post AU wheels.
Both hub adapters and spacers are illegal though.
i had two 8mm spacers on my gt4 so they could clear the coilovers
when i got yellow stickers i would pass the pits with the spacers on
i just sprayed them black so you couldnt see them!
then i finally got some 30mm bolt on spacers (also called PCD changers)
thats one excuse you could use with the pits
"you needed to change your PCD from 5x100 to 5x114.3"
thats what I did

i'll be running them on my car but that will mainly be for daily duties
not sure what i'll do for track work as i'm not sure i want to run them on track
but as mentioned before i can't fit the rims i have over my brakes on front without spacers and they hit the struts on rear
