HOW WEIRD WAS THAT RACE!!!

Awesome race, but jeebus, last 2 laps = disaster.

And not Hammy has been stripped of his win.

MOAR RACES LIKE THAT ARE REQUIRED.

that was a crazy finish to the race. i was wanting kimi to win it just to make the championship even tighter than it already is so in the last few laps i was all over the shop. kimi leading with hamilton catching up FAST, hamilton tries to overtake and they almost crash, chicane cut, overtake again, kimi hits hamilton trying to repass, then it decides to piss with rain, all the above happens again and then kimi crashes out after overtaking hamilton again.

hiedfeld and alonso kinda proved why they have the reputations they have by switching to the wet tyres wiht 2 laps to go. that was awesome to see 3-4 cars being passed on the last corner.

and then hamilton being penalised and knocked down to 3rd. i'm not quite sure i agree with it. from where i sit, the rules on that aren't really clear enough. he let kimi pass him again after cutting the chicane but he was still penalised. weird. if they're going to do things like that then they need to give a more clear ruling, ie, you can't make an overtaking maneuver until you've gone through the next corner or something to that effect.

if i remember right, kimi put on a massive push in the last few rounds of last season and came out on top so i wouldn't be counting him out just yet. anything can happen and that was proved pretty convincingly on teh weekend. i reckon singapore will prove to be a very unpredictable race purely because of the conditions. its night so the air will be different hence the cars will behave differently for a start. either way, bring on monza!
