yep, been told titanium needs to be inspected for cracks more often.
I decided against titanium when i upgraded springs, factory ones in my motor are fine for 9000rpm.
what engine?

BMW M20B25/27 hybrid. I have heard similar re-titanium retainers, strong, but more brittle then CroMo and hence more prone to cracking... Question answered, thanks guys.
