range from $389 - $450 new. Telstra charge $799 because A: they are rip offs. B. Thats what they think the next g software is worth.
Also seeing as you are getting this from telstra it will be loaded with telstra software. Still be able to use other networks however there will be alot of things unavailable due to it being changed to telstra systems. You will not get true 3.5g on another network

^^^Yeah it sucks, mine had Optus softwarem luckily the bloke who bought it was on optus too.
try and ebay it though, thats where I sold mine.
did you use yours at all? if so are they a good phone? i only got it so i could sell it of as i needed to go to telstra anywyas for coverage etc

yeah its a good little phone, very well made. I only used it for a week or so, i'm s tradie so I just kept my old phone as this one would have been ruined.
Know what you mean about the coverage, are you on site? My missus was stuck with them too as she works on a mine.
yeh the new job means i have to drive an hour and 40 mins out of perth, and i was with vodafone but they drop out coverage even as close as canningvale where i live so i wanted someone who has a little better coverage like telstra,

if you need to travel that far keep the phone, next g coverage is pretty good and would be ideal for you
yeh ive got an old one htat works with next G ive found lol and this one wil prols get ruined, $400 ONO only thing ive done is open it up and give it a 12hour charge
