hey mate, pits will not pass you with HID unless your car comes standard with them.
Philips have something worth looking in to, they are aftermarket globes and you dont need the ballast etc making them legal...
here is a link to the site:

I have Chromium white and they are very white/bright they cost around $50 on ebay.
Hope this helps

Hey Mate,
I dont have any D2C's in stock at the moment, but they are about 3 weeks away (got em on order for my Evo as well).
All yours for $149pair... What colour are you chasing? I would highly recommend 5000k (pure white), but can get 4300k (yellow/white - brighter and same as stock) or 6000k (white/blue - noice looking lights, but get a bit of cop attention).
I dont do 8000k (Blue) as they are a defect notice waiting to happen.
I have passed 8 cars (my own cars as well as customer cars) over the pits with HID's fitted so far without any probs (yellow stickers were not for HID's BTW). These have all been through Midland Pits. They won't pass if going over for compliance & first rego, but yellow sticker removal and re-registers are fine (well, with my kits anyways, I can't speak for the ebay spec kits and the like). It also helps that we install them correctly and hide the Ballasts completely out of view.

is your $149, for 2 bulbs, or was it the whole kit?
thanks :P
Hey volatile, i think the ones i have in atm, are D2R? so what are the differences? I notice that the ones i have atm, have a reflector type plating on the bulb?
of the philips site :
part -85126, temp - 4300K*, type - D2R, volts - 85V, watts - 35, base - P32d-3, pack - Cl
would be chasing either the 4200k or the 6000k i think?
Mite have to drop by your shop sometime soon, thanks

Yeah, Pits are pretty cool with HID's just as long as they aren't blue and are pointing slightly downwards.
Just a reminder of the Antilag Exclusive HID Sale
