hey guys sorry if its already been posted, had a search but didnt find anything soooo....

im chasing a tougher thrust washer to put in my r154 gearbox, but am having a hard time finding one. can anyone please suggest a place that sells them? or anyone who could make one? i know dudes in america get theirs carbon treated, cryo treated, carburised etc... so id like mine to be as strong as possible.

and i noticed this part while browsing on rhd, a Abflug solid shift collar

anyone able to recommend one/heard anything about them?

cheers for any help

replace with stocker.

reason they fail is because they are getting close to 20 years old now and the hardened surface layer has worn away.

sounds like u have been reading up on sf.com so you will have read many reasons for failures and ways to over come them (such as oil galleries etc) so depending on how far u want to take this issue, it may not be such a simple or cheap request

oh really? from what ive read so far people rekon the stock one is brittle, fair enough probably because its old, but is it worthwhile replacing with something alot harder? will have decent amount of power.
also i havent actually found a site with all that info, mind pointing me in the direction of it?
dont mind how much itd cost/hassle of putting it in, just want to make sure its safe

thanks for your help
