hi. i got problem with my gearbox, i cant seem to get into any gears on my transmission eversince i accidently ride the clutch.
i can get into gears while the engines off, but when i try to turn it on with gear in, it wont turn on.
could this be the clutch or the gearbox?
but the clutch feels quite normal to me when pushed in (not soft or anything).

The way I read that highlighted section it sounds like a clutch issue. Or possibly a user issue if you are trying to start the car with it in gear and the clutch is not pushed in

yea the clutch was pushed in when i turn the key on, it jus jump and stall sort of thing, jus like when u dont have ur foot on clutch.
yea i hope its only the clutch, cos i can smell abit of burning smell after it happend.
Jus worried if its might be the gearbox too thats fukd.
it doesnt wanna go into any of gears when engines on, and on reverse seems to be crunching.
another r154 is not cheap :(

Clutch is not disengaging from flywheel.... check clutch fluid see if there's any there. Possibly slave cylinder, clutch plate or pressure plate.
I had same issue when I snapped my pressure plate

its definatly clutch related.
i have heard of the clutch plates and flywheel getting stuck together if they got too hot, which will happen if you rode it badly.

Or splitting into two if you do too many skids ;)

its a 9 button clutch and it only like 3 months old.
but maybe still not enough to handle 400hp soo i just got these twin carbon exedy ordered next week.
but the strange thing is the gear is struggling to get in reverse, cos that wouldnt have anything to do with the clutch yea??

if the clutch is fucked you will struggle to get it into reverse too..
do you mean while the car is not on but?
that may still be due to the clutch though.

either on or off the reverse is shit.
but when its off it wouldnt go in all the way like theres not enough preassure holding, it would just come bak to neutral if u flick it with ur fingers lol.
and when the engine is on, it would just crunch if i force it to go reverse.
hmmm..
Clutch of fail.
What brand is it?

Not suprising to see an "Extreme clutch" fail.

whats the outcome of this? get it sorted?
few people have had their slave cylinders snap at the mounts to the bellhousing, caused a few similar probs.

eldar, that would result in no pedal at all, it would go straight to the floor.
he is claiming to still have a pedal

It was overheated, the plate got stuck together cos its too hot.
Took it apart and it its still look usesable, damn i spent 2.5k buying a new clutch, but its all good now.
The new twin plate soo noisy tho :(
