m8 of mine just installed a frontmount and is running 12psi, is a tune needed or isit fine to run this kinda boost? think its got a mines chip or wuteva

yes it would be fine but i would still get afr's checked especially because the ecu has been changed

Nar it would be about 5 or just under IMO.
And get an afr check done on it. Neo's are known pingers

yer gt35 with cams or maybe a gt3071r for killer response.

3071R is too small, as a minimum 3076R external.

gt3788r? is that a garret equivilent to the t04z? gt30 is way to small imo for a car with such displacment :/

the T04z is the garret version of the T04z ;)
on a 1jz a T04z with 1.06rear with china manifold will start making boost at about 3700rpm.

Scradly has a GT3582R on his neo with cams and greddy plenum and about 18psi and its very lazy. he is looking at upgrade to, as Saf suggested, a GT3076R with external gate.

my stock 2JZ with GT35R walks on the Neo because its so lazy. Go the GT3076R with ex. gate.

3076R is the way to go, that's what i'll be putting on my 25.
