hey just purchased a GTS4 R32, i was told the G sensor was fukt didnt really give a shit anyways, but now the damn ABS light is on also all the time. nah it has a switch to toggle between AWD and RWD and if i switch it it goes off for abit then comes on about 2 seconds later. like i said the AWD doesnt concern me atm but the brakes feel weak as fuk and i think it had something to do with the fault...who would be good to have a look at this ?? also how hard is ABS to remove and wats the go if you do remove it ?
cheers

No one has posted for you so I will :)
I just had the same issue with my BNR32. The "ABS" and "4WD" Lights would come on and off intermitently. I bought a second hand one off a guy and now the problem is gone!!
I only paid $50 + freight. Make a wanted post for one on Skylines Australia over east. Heaps of people sell them for cheap. FYI, a new one from Nissan is over $2000!!!!!!!!!!!! No bulls%$t
An the GTS4 and GTR are identical for the R32 models.
Hope this helps.

hey mate sorry i just released you replied cheers for that
yeh i run a toggle switch so and worked out it will only stay in AWD when its cool in the car, so thinking G sensor for sure but looks like ill have to replace it as the ABS light is always on and only the AWD light should be on when the toggle in RWD cheers

The G Sensor (or gravity sensor unit ) is a little electronic sensor that sits over the tranmission tunnel under the centre console.
It works with the ATESSA system which controls the amount of torque that goes to the front wheels.

Yeah it was some fancy shit for its time. I just love the fact by removing the fuse for the 4WD I can have instant peel action....
