peice of piss to yank out really

Take bonnet off and drain all oils and remove radiator and fan blade
Undo the nut on each side of the engine mounts
Undo the bracket of the base of the gearbox and remove odo cable and reverse switch loom
Take Tailshaft out and gearstick out
disconect power steering hoses to pump
remove air con compressor from block (swing it away)
remove injector, coilpack and starter motor, knock sensor and oil pressure harness away from the motor (sit it all up on top of the windscreen)
remove the water hoses at the firewall
disconect exhaust from turbo
remove any other left over bits attatched to the motor

as far as that it should be ready to yank out.. Pull the gearbox out with it, hell of a lot easier.
