Try www.dogzonline.com.au
They have all the registered breeders listed on there and have notices for ones that currently have pups available.
Hope that helps ... good luck with the search ... love Bull Terriers.

yeah thanks mate, i've been on there a few times, but the bull terrier breeders take it pretty seriously, you have to co-own the dog with a few of them, and i'd imagine price tags over the 1k mark!

You might find that alot of the breeders of dogs with a bad rep will be a bit selective with whom they sell the dogs to.
Unfortunately you get alot of stupid people who don't raise the pup in the correct way and the dogs end up out of control and bring down the name of the breed further.
It takes alot of work to keep these dogs on the right side of the line ... they can be very stubborn and very strong willed ... same with any dog really but unfortunately these guys have the muscle to back up the attitude !!
Price wise ... for a dog like a Bull Terrier ... you don't want to skimp and you could do with the back up of a decent breeder as they can have some nasty medical problems due to interbreeding.

You probably have already but have you checked the Quokka?

Also...

Pitbull Terrier pup for $200. So cute :p
Don't know if it would still be available though, ad was updated on the 25th of April.

you get what you pay for with regards to dogs - and even then, the purchase price is the cheapest part of owning them.

Have had both pitbulls and bull terriers - both are awesome dogs.

Check out american staffies if you want a pitbull - all of the looks/temprament with zero of the legal bs associated with owning a dangerous dog.

Cheers for the advice fellas. I really have my heart set on a bully so I might just bide my time until I can afford to spend the coin on a pure one
