Just need to quickly know, will most C-spanners work on differnt brand coilovers? Ive got some Teins and need to lower them in the next few days.
If not do tyre shops have sets they can use?

If the barrels are of similar diameter I wouldn't see why not....unless where the key goes in is a different shape but all of the ones I have seen look to be the same

Nah wish it were that simple man. There's heaaaaps of different variations and sizes. But i am assuming most brands try and stick to just 2 spanners. You need 2 spanners to unlock/lock the nuts together anyways. My JIC require 2 different sized spanners to work.
Try and avoid screw drivers coz they just damage the alloy. Also make sure while you're there you lube up the thread nicely so they don't rust. That way the next guy who gets the car doesn't have to un-seize the alloy from the rusty steel thread. Done it before... Mission!
If you're stuck, i have some you could use. If you're close enough to the northside ;p

yeah definately stay away from the screwdrivers if it doesnt loosen it up after a few hits
I had some HKS coils that I pretty much chiselled away at the collar until they moved...then months later the collar simply snapped so there was nothing holding the spring seat in place
C Spanners or nothing
