ummm they done about 6kms apart before but they get pretty hastie at that dist so probably 5km comfortable.

Wattage should be on the back

Range is line of site ie if youre surrounded by buildings youre getting farkall range.

Realistic range in metro area would be one kilometre for a hand held due to no real aerial.

wasn't on the back tryed looking under the cover couldnt find but yea range is always pretty shabby in the city i tested them in country sort of area.

they would be 0.5 watt most probably, bout the standard for a hand held.

5 watt ones are car mounted.
