Hi all, More aimed at some of the brake pro's.

I have a Twin Master cylinder pedal box in my Familia, i first set it up with 2x 3/4 Wilwood Master cylinders. However i felt the pedal feel to be far to hard and i had to exert far to much pressure on the pedal for the braking that was taking place.

Ive since changed to a 3/4 Rear cylinder and a 5/8 Front cylinder with the balance bar over about 75% Across to the Front. Im Finding i have to use alot of pedal now to get decent braking. Im going to give them another bleed just in case but i didnt have any air enter the lines (the way ive rigged them up) when i changed the cylinders and bled it on the bench and bled the line before i hooked it in.

In my other Race car i had 2x 5/8 Girling master cylinders on the same pedal box however with smaller front calipers. That gave an awefull pedal feel and you were almost on the floor to get a good brake. These cars and the travel in my suspension gives me really good setup under brakes, im just lacking the feel to stand on them.

Are there any 'intermediate' options for the 3/4 and the 5/8. I need more travel than a 3/4 on the front but less than a 5/8. Or do i just have my balance bar/pushrod adjustment off?

Cheers

Josh

if you want more travel in your 3/4 (rear) and less in your 5/8 (front) then I would assume you bias is way too even. It goes the way that if you get more travel in your 3/4, then you are going to have -alot- of rear bias, which is what i like :)
