alright its about time to give the rolla the boot. The fact is its slow, its slow, and its slow. For the next few years i want to buy a car:

*heres the prerequisites*

1) will get me down to murdoch and back each day without chewing bucket loads of fuel, and wont break down whilst going over the mount henry brg.
2) is reasonably quick and can be modded in the future.
3) and can carry a 5-piece drumkit!

oh and 5) i got 8k to spend.

i like VR4's and i was thinking one of them, another thing is i have to sell my car, but if i dont then i have to save a little more, thrash the 4A till it dies, and drop a dirty GZE in. But that requires a bit of work and money.

so if any of u guys have any suggestions feel free to post or PM me that would be greatly appreciated.

cheers
Jayden

p.s -no whoring pls!

quick but doesnt chew fuel? can be modded in the future?

Look just buy an auto fully electric early 1990s Magna or Verada...get a nice comfortable interior and sweet stereo. Nothing outrageous. Get your degree, save up for a few years then buy whatever the fuck you want...u dont need a fast car now which will kill u on insurance and maintenance...just be comfortable, drive sensibily and enjoy life whilst u are at uni. Smoke pot, drop pills, take ur friends around listen to some sweet beats and live it up..

the time will come when u realised "good thing i made that sacrifice and bought the magna - cos now i got a fucking Audi TT with a big fuckoff turbo and ext gate" or something similar.

thats what i would recommend dude..ur not getting anything performance special that will NOT chew fuel and be reliable with under 100000kms for under 8K...

I got a great Hiace van you can have for about 6k.....needs some paint, but you can drop a 1JZ in it at a later date :)

Oh, and its bloody reliable too, uses bugger all fuel and does great single spinners into 2nd gear :D

what you want is an SX or GTi, for sure. Don't listen to these magnaloving twits..

Either find an SX (good luck) or just spend the $700-1500 on a 4AGE and throw it in.
