EOI: brand new/unopened/never used iPhone

I might be selling shortly an iPhone. Here's the story: I'm not a fan of iPhones But i need to renew my plan shortly. I want a phone that's not available through my provider, so I'm buying it outright elsewhere. With renewal comes a new handset, so I want to sell it at a discount to someone else, so I can pay for the other phone, if that makes sense...

I can get as follows:

Iphone 3G 8G - rrp $719, selling for $500
Iphone 3GS 16 Gb - rrp 879, selling for $650
Iphone 3GS 32 Gb - rrp 1,040, selling for $780

Prices are firm as of course you'll be getting it brand spanking new. Let me know if interested.

Cheers! I'll check the availability first, I found out right after I posted this, that 3GS ones aren't actually available this week as sold out, but will be available next week sometime.

And to answer some PM's... I'll confirm what it comes with and whether it will be locked/unlocked tomorrow.

For the time being I am unable to get the 3GS as they are all sold out. Had an offer on the 3G iphone which they have is stock, so will know by next week if sold, when I meet with the buyer.

who is the provider? i was planning to go down this route but if you read the fine print, that if you don't use an iphone on an iphone plan, they will take you off that plan.

3. Wasn't told anythng about the plan thing, this is the first time I hear about that. I might check, but I don't think they will care what phone I use on that plan. Sounds a bit ridiculous to be honest.

I did mention I will want to have the phone unlocked, and they said they can do it for free, no worries. They send a request to apple, then when you sync it with itunes it unlocks.

ah not sure about 3, but optus does that. i wanted the iphone plan because of the data but the fine print states that you will be transferred off the iphone plan if you don't use an iphone on that plan

Hmmm.... do they find out automatically if you swap your SIM to another phone? I can;t see how they could.

At the end of the day, woudl make no difference to me, as the free data plan would just be a bonus. If I won't get the data plan, that's fine too.

whenever you put a simcard in a phone an IMEI number is logged on their system. like i said, its in the fine print for optus, never tried but brian seems to have no problems

i got a timeless plan with optus with Iphone and i done the same thing as u mate SOLD the iphone coz i wanted a different fone

its been 5 months now and no dramas they dont care wat fone u use as long as u make calls and u clog up bills :D
