We weren't aware it was still in his system and i was with him for 4 hours before the cruise and he seemed completely straight.

He hadnt had a drink in the four hours before the 930pm meet while i was with him. And thats more then enough time to take at least 4 beers out of your system (depending if they are 1 std drink)
