G'day guys,

I urgently need >3 Public Transport Authority (PTA) rail network accredited able bodied gentleman for a temporary sub-contracted role on the Perth-Midland Re-Sleepering project.

At this point services from these extra individuals will only be required for a matter of weeks, but as they do things can always happen necessitating the need for our client, John Holland Rail, to keep the extra guys employed to keep the number's in the gang up. Other opportunities can also always arise for the right person.

Work involves plenty of manual labour, and exposure to the elements, but all-in-all is very well paid considering.

Starting rate is ~$31.00/hour + penalties with a guaranteed minimum daily payment of 10 hours regardless of time worked, and time worked is below 9 hours 95% of the time. Work a full 11 day fortnight & you can expect to clear about three grand (net)

The MUST HAVE's:
- PTA WPW01 Electrification Safety & Awareness Training
- CAT III or higher medical current
- Ability to pass random drug & alcohol testing on site (brain)
- Brain

The DESIREABLE's:
-Tracklaying gang expierence
-Safety Critical Worker's (CAT I) medical current
-Qual's to operate Plant/Hiab/HR/Loader
-Blue Card

Contact myself immaediatly if you're interested :)

Mate put it this way, uncle mick has one :D

Seriously though, it's just a generic course that authorises an individual entry to the urban rail network. They're run by Skilled Rail in the Forrestfield yard every fortnight or so and only take two days. The problem is the cost, and also availability, so unfortunately we're unable to train someone simply for a couple of week's work :(

A little market research if yous have a spare second,

When we have an ongoing project to staff & will be recruiting/training a group of new blokes, given the figures that I've quoted earlier, would it be safe to assume there would be adequate interest from guys on here?

Cheers Kael.

Been & gone mate, we needed three or more blokes the day I posted this & I only got one, the other two I found elsewhere...

These three worked Wednesday/Thursday night and are back for the final 11 straight days of the project on Monday night.

If there's anyone here with a WPW01 Id still recommend giving me a call as there may always be more gaps to fill.

If we're ever going to take a group of greeny's in to go away and work on a project, I think this would be the best place to ask for interest/get resumes/interview etc etc...

Cheers Kael :)
