His pride and joy has been stolen, a black VE GTS, plates 1HDT 05, if you see this car please call 131444 immediately as they stole his phone too. Was stolen from Mt Pleasant area.

Car thieves reached up to 250km/h through Perth's southern suburbs in a stolen high-performance Holden Commodore GTS last night.

Police spotted the black sedan in Shenton Park about 2am which had been used in a number of burglaries.

Officers followed the car but lost it. About an hour later they spotted the car again on Curtin Avenue, Cottesloe.

A chase ensued, during which the drivers of the Commodore reached up to 250km/h.

Police are urging anyone with information about the stolen silver Holden GTS to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

When these cars get pinched for joyride they get held on limiter till it cooks most the time, not to mention the roll backs ,clutch drops etc.
Total punishment for long periods of time.

Other car theives that steal these cars to stip and more pro and dont attract any attention. Car cover on a tilt tray and usally never driven.
