Hey,

Im looking at buying a Trust tdo6-20g, the turbo will be going on an rb25det (r33); i have been searching for the pass week and have found a few in my price range but the only problem is the exhuast housing is only 8cm, i was reading on another fourm that the 8cm was more suit for an sr20 or rb20.

My question is would it be worth putting this on an rb25 with the 8cm exhuast or should i keep serach for something larger like 10 to 12cm. Im not looking for huge power just abit of a punch.

Cheers Michael

p.s i will be most likly buying the one which needs external gate if that makes a differences

then you do want the small housing, keeps lag down, response up, and if your not after massive power it will still do 300 at the wheels

cheers tj :) that was the answer i was looking for :)

Would it be possable to make 350rwhp out of the 8cm? or would i need a 10cm.

Also i was told that a stock rb25 engine doesnt like to be boosted over 12psi is this ture?

I have a td06 20g on SR 8cm.

It would go really well on a rb25 and make power everywhere. Over 300 rwhp wouldn't be a problem. Dunno if you would quite get 350 though maybe 330 + guess it depends which dyno your on too ;)

If your happy with a little more lag a td06 25g would be the go.

guy on sau has made almost 350rwhp from the 8cm housing

I have a spare 10cm td06 housing if you want to try that, its internal gate tho...currently using the 8cm
