View Full Version : Coilover studs
Just picked up a set of teins here in sydney but one of the studs on the front camber top is missing. Where can I get a replacement and how do I put it back in? I assume same as putting in wheel studs?

there is a mob over east called fulcrum suspension that rebuild teins, i'd imagine they could help if you get stuck.

mitchy is correct.
Fulcrum Suspension in QLD are the Australian Tein Distributor. They will have what you want.
If you prefer to go with someone locally then WA Suspensions and X Speed are the Tein Distributors in WA who get there stuff from Fulcrum anyway
hmm.. thought it'd be a generic stud i can just hammer in

yes you could, or you could just use a ht bolt & nut of a suitable size.
what have you actually got there? a sheared off stud or is it a press fit bolt thats fukd? can you post a pic?

they are a press fit stud, and one would be missing.
i've got 6 from the stock S13 coilovers if you want to give them a bash. :)
if theres nothing to remove, why not just use a bolt?
yea press fit stud that's missing.
will give it a try with a bolt when i get back and install them. or might go pay mitchy a visit and steal his rims :D
