HELLO, im looking at putting a whiteline adjustable sway bar on my vn commodore and just wanted some peoples opinions on them , did you gain more drivability or did it just loosen the rear end up, resaulting in a scandinavian flick :p any one that has used them in the past please comment . . . .

stumps.

Check out Savage's thread on his VN. He built his own from two standard ones. He said it stiffened the rear up.

Which would hint that a whiteline one being thicker would do the same thing

remember for it to be effective your suspension needs to be set up to be balanced, depends what you want out of it, more grip can be achieved a number of ways, camber, tyres, pressure etc

Then soften the front and stiffen the rear.

sway bar has nothing to do with stiffening up the rear in theway you want it. sway bar stops lateral roll, if you want the rear to be stiffer you need higher rated and shocks springs.

Buy a pair of linglongs, triangles, kelly chargers or similar reputable china brand for the rear tyres
That'll do the trick ;)

Well on the 32 when I had my front on soft and rear on hard, the rear didn't have much grip and came out easy around corners.

tightening of the rear swaybar promotes oversteer.

if you want the rear stiffer, then choose better springs shocks.
if you want more oversteer, then obvioulsly get a better rear swaybar

or be a mad dog and do both.
