its 4WD tyres that i need, and thats where my knowledge ends with the brands and such...

basically chasing a brand/model that is street (not chunky tread, purely street, no sand or mud) ... and has a speed rating of Y or W (compared to normal tyres).
and needs to be 31x13/R15

cheers !

*edit*

its for dyno tuning so the tyre has to last with heat/speed (muddies tend to have chunks of tread rip off), so id want quality, without having to purchase top of the range.
maybe with the occasional event (Powercruise, gazzanats, MV etc) so it needs grip as well.

Coopers if it s a quality tyre that will last, got the ATR. Good all round tread. Strong, you should get 100000k's plus to set if you look after them!

ive used coopers HP4000's on the EF back in the day haha.

I run Maxxis Bighorns on my Pajero...

Noisy as all hell on bitumen, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

They are yet to fail me in deep sand, mud or rocks.

Thats like going to Maccas for a salad or Langtrees for a hug...

I ran Bridgestone D680's for a while before I hardened up and went off roading. New model now is D683.

Very quiet, strong side walls with minimum flex, good grip in the wet

Not cheap though

Run the Pirrelli Scorpion HTs then, Grippy, Smooth and nice on road without stupid price tag.

that or the Hancook 866 I think (may have to do metric conversion, but you should be able to find something with pretty much the same rolling diameter and width.

you might struggle with something that wide actually...

metric conversion is 325/60R15

they are probably your only chance at getting a decent speed rating too.

yeh, 31X16.00R15LT seems to be closest while maintaining the 31" height.
3" wider tyres on dyno that what it usually runs, will that cause issues?

Its more rolling Diameter, Side walls may flex and become taller could be the only drama...
