Subaru engine swap

Hay i have a 2000 Subaru outback and have broken the engine. Im wanting to replace with a WRX engine and wanting to know if it is much of a mission or is it a prity much bolt in. And which WRX engine is the best to use.

Not hard if you get a Liberty B4 half cut and swap all the gear out... Everything (including wiring loom) bolts in.

If you just want to swap motors, it wont happen unless its a non turbo EJ25, which is the stock motor.

You'll need to put in a turbo loom. IF you can source a similar era front cut it will make the job a lot easier.

Unless you want to custom wire in an ecu.

from what ive seen engine swaps almost always end up over time and over budget probably not worth it if your looking for an easy fix
