Hey guys, got my Learners for my bike license a few months ago, but finally going to take a few lessons next week if the weather permits.
I needed to do some shopping for gloves and a jacket before then. Anyone recommend any bike accessories stores in Perth? I just wouldn't know where to look. The bigger the range the better.
cheers

normally the motorbike shop/dealers are all pretty close together (in a chain)
just pick a local one, and u can normally walk next door or across the road to another one.
a non dealer motorbike shop that are good is motorbike pitstop on angove in north perth. pretty friendly people, and give ya discount if u shop there every now and again
my advice is go to the shop try on gear get your sizing right. Then jump onto ebay and shop in america. Its a lot cheaper and our dollar is high atm so use that to your advantage as well

All the shops in Perth are expensive, there are a few that are btter on the east coast, but the net/ebay is your freind. Try some of these first, or search american sites to see just how much we are getting fucked with pineapple using petrol as lube for prices from the local shops.

go to local shops try on the limited range they have to get the sizes right as each brand is diffrent. Then get on BTOsports.com and buy from the US u'll save hundreds on leather jackets etc. Dont forget boots mine saved my feet when i jad a crash

Causeway have about 4 or 5 shops along there.
Likeit's been said before, go try on for sizing then hit the onlnie stores. You'll save squillions.

I used to work in a bike shop in Perth.. And still reasonably often bought my gear online. Perth bike shops rape wallets hard, unless you know someone who will give you good prices.
Even when I was buying at cost, the range of what's available is far better from the states and the prices are far better than here. You'll easily get a discount at a shop, only because they make so much.. Not because you're awesome.
Same for aftermarket parts, and in a lot of cases, OEM parts.
