i thought it was a GTO, but from the markings on the side of the car it looks like a 1970(or there abouts) firebird....

P.s its a 1969 , USA spec Dodge Charger, its got a 440CI magnum.
its "hugger orange" The 500 is powered by the 440 cubic inch Hemi engine. was built to a NASCAR requirement to allow Chargers to race on the stock car circuit, and has top speed (stock) of over 200 Miles per hour.

Dodge also had a Charger for the Scat Pack. The Charger 500 was designed for the performance-minded driver. At first glance it looks much like the standard Charger, but it has two major differences. The rear window has been slanted more so that it is flush with the trailing edge of the rear window pillars. The basic Charger and Charger R/T have a "tunnel roof" and the rear window is slanted less. I freakn love these cars. I got an awesome Daytona scale model for my bday couple of years ago.

Charger R/Ts, Superbirds, Daytonas... love them all.... If I were a guy I'd get a woody over them.

Ithink you will find that the Dodge Charger Daytona's ran a god ugly nose cone to give greatly improved aerodynamics (which allowed the top speed obtained.) The stock bodied "blunt nose" coupe wouldn't have been able to get anywhere near 200mph before hitting the aerodynamic brick wall.
