Hi guys

Exhaust manifold / turbo flanges are something i have little to no idea about and would like a bit of info if anyone knows the answer.

I have a T518z on my Sr and have no idea what flange is uses, and as the manifold has almost destroyed itself i need to source a new one aka my need to know what flange it uses...

Ive searched the internet high and low and havnt been able to get a firm answer... Are the flanges something that changes from application to application dependant on the users needs ( like a bolt on/off replacable option ) or are the flanges always the same on a particular model turbo ?

Anyhow the most common answer ive seen posted on the internet is a T2 flange... Can anyone confirm or deny or just tell me what it actually is ?

Cheers
Dan

You'll find it's a lot easier if you search for a TD05H-18G flange, but I've seen people saying T3, some saying T25.

Best thing you can do is measure the distance between bolt-holes and compare them with T25 and T3 flanges to find out exactly which it is.

Do u know if its possible to have the same turbo with a dif flange setup ? Or would all T518z's be the same ?

T3

And I repeat, if you want to be sure, measure your turbo flange and compare with the above two diagrams (both in inches).

im not disagreeing with your logic duste, its infact very sound advice. But my question also stands... Is the flange section something changable on a turbo or isit always fixed ?

change flange = change manifold

change flange = change manifold

Yeah that's sorta the idea, eBay real cheap manifold until I can afford custom one again and change flange to suit :-p

All 518z's come in a T2 flange... They are only for bolt on to Silvias and GTRs
