Hey all Ive noticed alot of retailers/suppliers list drop in side feed injectors for the RB25 and 1JZ together (sometimes under the same part number other times by engine type).
Im just wondering has anyone used side feed drop in injectors sold to suit RB25 in a 1JZ rail?
Any experience/info would be appriciated.

Woah.. appriciate the offer man.
I think im barking up the wrong tree though, the 25 requires high impedance injectors and I know the JZ injectors are low impedance. Still doing abit of looking but i dnt think they will be compatable even if the sizes are the same. Still would appriciate any info from people with more experience in this area?
Was hoping I might be able to pick up a bargain I was offered today.
If you have a programmable computer then it should be easy to get around

so it could just a case of resetting the ohms in the ecu and re-wiring the injectors to suit if the sizes are the same?

unless i have my terminology wrong you already have high impendence injectors(10-16 ohms which is what we selected). The ems requires a total injector rewire to change to different impendence injector.

yeah sry muddy i got that round the wrong way... I know its a total re-wire of the squirters.. it wasnt a job i was going to run out to do just got offered the injectors at a great price.

When I put low impedance top feeds on a Sr a few hears back I just soldered in a resistor back off a ca18 engine to drop the resistance down. Ecu was a power fc djetro.
Wonder if u could do this on ur rb25 but use the resistor pack off say a gtr or something.

7M GTE 3rd GEN 1GGTE comes with a resistor pack factory that could be wired in to bring down the RB25 injectors in the 1J??
i put in top feed injectors on my SR that were low imp, just wired some resistors in line and that fixed it, but that's going from high -> low, not sure how you would do it the other way around, unless going through the ECU

its a aftermarket ecu so it has capabilities to run both but the injectors need to be switched from series to parrellel depending on the impendence of the injectors.
