Have pre-ordered. Playing MOH at the moment, goooooooood multiplayer action however I've always preferred the multiplayer of the COD series. Always feels a lot more frantic and twitchy than MOH. Killchains are always more rewarding (do want remote controlled car bomb)

COD needs to get it's shit together with dedicated servers as-well. So pissed off they half-assed MW2 and didn't go dedicated. Match making system should be left on consoles.

Badseed, the single player campaign in MOH was pretty fucking dismal, completed it on hard in about 4hours. Wasn't impressed at all. However the multiplayer is actually pretty damn good! Nice low-ping servers here in perth aswel. However as said, COD-Black Ops will blow it out the water ;)

Pre-ordered the remote control car version as well. Looking forward to it! Mate of mine keeps complaining about the servers for COD and the influx of cheats etc. Hoping stuff gets resolved for this game!!

had the prestige edition pre-ordered but got it downgraded to a hardened edition (everything same as prestige except no RC car) seeing as I knew I'd probably only use the car once haha

Shifted, completely agree mate. MW2 servers are absolutely rife with fucking cheaters. I played it for about 4-5 months and then the cheating was so bad I havn't played it since then.

Infinity Ward is the company that pumps out the goods when it comes to the Modern Warfare Series.. They are not involved in Black Ops.

Personally I suspect this game to be pretty fucking awesome but we need to remember that you cant lump it in with the MW series.. they are not the same game.. merely the same title

Justooon - sounds the same as the EA NFS series, where a title is released every year but takes 2 years to develop so two companies run the show.

Yeah Shifted, depending on the game there are dedicated servers for games in australia. Hosting for Black Ops is going to be provisioned by 1 company only apart from Treyarch themselves, gameservers.com . They will be providing hosted self managed servers for oceania (pretty sure they have some servers in adelaide and sydney but nowhere else as yet. Either way it's a shitload better than the match-making system of MW2.....

Also Justoon, this might be some interesting reading for ya, just goes into a bit more detail as to the rivalry between Infinity Ward and Treyarch.

MW2 is shit, so that's not exactly a fair comment.

WAW isn't that bad, for the moment, COD4 is the best game of the entire series.

As for cheaters, they are in every game you play. The Medal of Honour Beta was rife with fuckheads who cheated. The game has been out for a week and apparently more than 1000 people have been caught cheating.

WAW is fucking kick ass. I can't even believe there is people who don't think it's good?
MOH isn't that great, the single player at least, since that's all I've played so far but yeah didn't impress me at all.
MW2 was great fun but there was a lot of issues with that game so I started playing BFBC2 instead and that was good but it sure wasn't any BF2 now I learn that BF3 is on it's way.. woo! BF>COD>MOH.

Not only that, but in normal games, it takes a full clip to kill someone, two shots from the .50 Cal rifle to kill someone and sometimes two direct hits with the rocket.

Hardcore and the fact you could level buildings were the only things going for it. It got to the point where I would just rush a building, load it with C4 and hope there was a few enemies in there, then watch it come crashing down.

I probably should have mentioned I only play FPS games in HC mode if it's available. I started playin BFBC2 at release and didn't have any issues?

The knifing was bugged as fuck, most knife kills didn't reg and you had to have a few goes for it to work.

I play mostly hardcore mode unless I'm learning a new weapon, like at the moment, I'm learning to quickscope with the Intervention in MW2.

Knifing bug in the beta was soooo whack. Would initiate a knife kill from bout 10ft away from a person, and it'd literally drag you up to the person and stab them. Glad they have more or less resolved it now though. Hardcore is the only way to go.
