Halloween Party Costume ideas??

I have a halloween party to go to soon and I'm stumped for an idea of a costume...

I saw some cool ones on some american sites, but I've left it too late to order one of those now as I have only 10 days left til the party.

So... any ideas?
Prefer something easy to get drunk in, and minimal outlay (under $100).
Either to buy from a store, or to try to put together from an op-shop.

My girlfriend also is having trouble thinking of something too, so any help there too would be appricated. :)

The missus and I are going as Peanut butter and Jelly to an upcoming Halloween party..

*2x hula hoops
*Canvas to suspend between them
*Paint canvas in respective design

Both costumes have come in well under $100!

Does it have to be something scary or just a dress up?

awesome idea, but what camera have a straight line out?

Could probably just use whatever you have on hand. Netbook / ipad or whatever + webcam or one of them small video recorders.

My cheapie digital cam has an AV out so I assume others have it too?

AV out yes, but stream what ever is on the screen? never seen that before. my guess is there is more to it, camera has been hacked open and lcd cables wired directly to new screen

ive decided to get some white material and make a tube out of it with arm holes and a face hole. then make it curved at the top, and paint the top half in red paint, add a short length of rope at the bottom, and go as a used tampon :)
