WTD: digital video camera-NEW or near new

as above, been using our Nikon D90 for videos but its pretty useless so want a proper video camera

recomendations for good value new ones appreciated

the kogan ones are good

model i got is $280 new... full hd (1080p) however i just record in 720p

you'll see heaps of bad reviews about movies being shakey, but thats because of the format they record in

if you encode them properly to something else, they're perfect

i'll grab some powerskid videos of chris260 tomorrow and post them up

thanks guys, i just saw a sony hdr-cx110 in a HN catalog so might just check one of those out.
just want a great pic with proper auto focus when zooming & great battery life.
