personally i dont know as i have shitty wireless net and 7gig d/l limit. This is just the info my mate told me couple nights back. He has had rapidshare account for the last 2-3 years and about 5 terrabytes of d/l content currently

Spot on!! Been using RS for about 5+ years now. Have not touched torrents, P2P and shit for YEARS unless it is something I can't find on a forum somewhere, and even then it is torrents only. ;)

RS/HotFile/FileServe/MegaUpload. Your main ones now are hotfile and fileserve. RS is slowly dying at the moment, but still plenty of people that use it.

Viruses are quite common, but anyone with half a brain and have been using comps for longer than a few months can tell easily which files are dodgy. You can always use a on-demand virus scan on the files you d/l from limewire or use a sandbox environment to run them first. Regardless of how dodgy it is, it's usually the quickest and easiest way to find old single tracks rather than having 0 seeds on old torrents if you can even find them.
