Hey what do all the guys with Falcons/Commodores etc. do when running front runners down at the plex? I have large brakes on the front of the HQ so cant run 15" fronts, but I cant seem to source anything larger in WA...
Can anyone point me in the direction as to where I can get some from? Even better, anyone want to lend me a set for this Wed night (happy to give something in return, nothing sexual though)?? Need some for Commodore stud pattern.

Weld wheels with the appropriate offset, or remove big brakes and run monaro space saver with MT front runners.

Must be some massive brakes , what you got on there ??

I dont think techs will let you run Commodore space savers.
Might be worth changing the brakes back, unless you want to fork out for a set of 17" rims and tyres.
Go 18's so i can eventually use them :D

Yeah can't really be bothered changing the brakes all the time lol...
They are just 280mm rotors but with 4-piston wilwoods, so a 15 won't fit over them (apparently, have not tried myself just yet).
What 15's are you going to use? do you have 15" front runners?

Centreline's clear 300mm rotors with 33gts-t calipers .. 15' rim
We have done this here , so try yourself to be sure

They were having issues with that over East but I don't think there has been much hassle here. It isn't the wheel which is not rated to 100km/h+, more the tyre and load ratings haha, silly rule. I'd give that a crack if I could get my hand on a set of tyres and savers before changing brakes or buying welds.
That's the line between racing for a hobby and racing full time I guess. ET streets are appealing for easy bolt on/off grip without needing front runners. Still good for 1.4x 60' too.

after going through steps myself, the only wheels i can find are "greg weld" they make them in 17x4.5s and the only frontrunner tyre that will fit is a m&h frontrunner.
i found it was quite cheap to purchase (tyres $160 each, wheels 250 each or something like that, but they have to come from the us, so the shipping is close to the price of the wheels.
worth doing if you plan on running lots.
also i should point out the wheels are drilled in oval boltholes, so they will fit ford/holden, and then you put washer type things over them.

Alright cool, thanks for the heads up!
And cheers for other comments - I think I might have to look into some semi slicks or something similar.

semi slicks are no good for drags, stiff side walls is exactly what you DONT want.

15" WELD's fit over my 297mm rotors on the falcon when i swap the Brembo's out, you just need to get the correct backspacing...

As discussed previously semi slicks are a no go for drag racing.
What you want is a set of these:

Or similar.

Front runners aren't required for the above radials either, so bwtter option if you can get away with them.
Do you have a transbrake?

Nope ... 4500rpm stall, unfortunately no transbrake is available for the KEAS valve body :( but the stall works well so not too fussed.
Might have to look into those tyres a little more.

240 each, i've sent messages to this guy and he can also do m&h frontrunners is 17x4.5 at $160 each (the same price M&H quoted me). he also does deals if you look, you can score 15x8.5 rears w/ the 17x4.5 fronts for like $800 us. unfortunately the shipping comes out at about $500 for the fronts w/ tyres, still about the best i've found.
edit: if you look around ebay there are also greg weld prolites (like a race pursuit version) in 17x4.5, but the stars have been designed to clear big brakes better (eg forwards not so much up).
