Hey guys, I've got a problem with my centre bearing. Just after some advice.

First of all, I've got a single piece driveshaft on the way, but it's about a week away still.

On the floorpan where the centre bearing mounts up, on one side there is a stud that comes out, goes through the bearing mount and you put a nut over it. No drama's there.
The other side, is a nut welded onto the other side of the panel, and you put a bolt through it.....when putting that bolt in, the welds cracked and then nut has come loose on the other side of that panel, the bolt is threaded in halfway, I can't get it to come out or go in further (even tried pulling it away while rotating with a socket, no avail).

When driving, there is a bit of a vibration when you take off, between say 10 - 20 kmp/h, once you're moving above that speed it's fine.

I've been as nice to it as possible when taking off from a full stop, let it roll up to speed when facing downhills etc, to reduce the shuddering. After each drive I check the stud/nut and tighten it up if it's come loose (which it's never come more loose than half a turn)

Will it be alright to drive it nicely for another week or so until my single piece arrives???

Any advice appreciated :)

Cut the bolt head off, slot the end of what will now be a stud ( so you can put a screw driver on it ) get a nut for the 'new' stud. Probably a waste of time just for a week, but you're gonna have to cut the bolt anyway.
