got a set of rims that i need to check on a subaru if possible.
5x100
18x7.5"
between +35 to +45

rims came as 5x100 had them professionally drilled to 5x100 and 5x108.
getting vibrations at 70kmh to 110kmh (unsure if higher)

new tyres didnt help, sets of Dunlop SP3000A and Sumitomo HTR Z3s both had issues
wheels are balanced perfectly, still vibrates
with and without hub locating rings it vibrates
stock rims dont vibrate the car, so its definately something with the aftermarket rims.

basically, i need to work out whether the 5x108 drilled out holes are fucked up, or the actual centre of the rim.

so need to try these on a subi so i can prove this theory correct.
if a subi's steering wheel vibrates, its rims,
if it doesnt, its the focus PCD thats been drilled.

PM if you can assist.
will be a carton of beer in it for whoever can help :)
would probably prefer an ALM member or AL regular, as the fitting will be at my house, but if you can help, id appreciate it :)

big thanks to Phil who came over this arvo. Enjoy the Asahi :D

turns out the drilled 5x108 PCD is dodgy, but the 5x100 (as rims was made with) is perfect, not one single vibration

so who thought they were qualified to redrill them then?

bought them through an antilag sponsor about 1.5 years ago.
been back there a couple of times to get it rectified, was told it was the car, so we had the car back and forth from Ford and other suspension places.
put stock rims on (borrowed), problem went away, so it wasnt the car
