Well I managed to curb bash a wheel of mine. I spoke with alliance in Malaga and they say they can't repair them due to having a chrome rim. Does anyone know if there are replacement rims available for S1s? Or someone who would be best to go to for a replacement wheel?

if they are chrome or have a chrome lip then no you cant repair them as the chrome with flake/peel/crack and there is no where that "chromes" them in perth.

Hmmm.. I was pretty sure they were polished alloy and another mate thinks the same but Alliance thought otherwise when I mentioned the wheel on the phone. *shrugs*

Ask Briffa. They fixed my rims + polish and paint and I had three hard buckled Tanabe SSR SP-1s.
Alliance as far as I know send rims to Briffa who send it back and Alliance charge extra % on top? (last I heard anyway).
Ask for Mick.

Been to briffa and dropped off the wheel. Nice guys and seems I'll have more work lined up for them when time comes to get the Monaro fiddled.
Thanks for the recommendation

Just an update.. wheel is fixed already and i've got it in the back of my daily ready to refit onto the XR.
Excellent turn around time and it looks fantastic, also patched up some other minor damage that my old housemate managed to do ages ago.
Big thanks to everyone who recommended Briffa.
