would be keen but by the looks of it they are a light truck in that size. they will be used for sand a fair bit

if you're using it in sand you probably shouldn't go for a mud tyre.

As above, go and get yourself a bob jane special... highway terrain tyre is the best tyre for sand duties... unless you get a second set of rims with paddles on them :)

Have you looked into the Goodyear wranglers? They do just about any size and have an awesome range from h/t to Kevlar induced muddies

Can anyone recommend me some tyres and where to go SOR (Cannington to Armadale or there abouts) for my Hilux? It is standard height and has some Desert Duelers on 15’s at the moment that are shot. First time changing tyres over on a 4WD so not 100% sure what to look for and what’s good. I usually do beach driving but have done the powerlines a few times.

I am guessing that all terrains would probably be my best bet or something like Maxxis Bighorns look alright… Open to suggestions.

Cheers.

If you do more road driving then mud, bighorns aren't for you

I'd be looking at a good set of AT

Either Goodyear ATR or BF Goodrich AT in 32x11.5xR15

Will be $300ea~

Thanks mate,

Yeah, mostly hwy & sand so AT's seem like the go.

I'll check them out.

Don't be scared off muddies though like ATTNSEEKR's says, easy to put up with, take the good with the bad

I have BF Goodrich Muddies on my Daily and they don't bother me the slightest

31" Triangle Radial All Terrains 4 of them about 95%+ tread on all of them. No rims $400.

I had them on my Patrol and done a run up the powerlines with them, had them on 18psi and they went great.

Look suitable for my needs. May be in touch regarding them if I get this job I have an interview for next week.

Do you know if they are a true 31 or come in undersize, I like the way mine drove with the 30's, people say a 31 tips them over the edge and make the vitara just abit sluggish... But I need to make the jump to 31 either way really. 6 inch lifted SAS'ed vitara looks abit sus on smaller 30x9.5's haha

i'll measure them, not sure how exact to stated size they are tho.

anyone interested in some maxxis bighorns 285/75/16, 4 with about 15k and 1 brand new. looking to upgrade to 315/75/16.

Can leave them on the new ROH steelies for extra, or can have them fitted to GU alloys 16x8
