anyone had any experience with them as in terms of quality, ride quality and handling?
not sure if I want to go for another set of K-sports, they were a good coilover but the rears on my old 32 seized up aparently and they had done dick all kms
If you're gonna buy a cheap coilover, I can sell you a set of HSD's which IMHO are far superior to any other non-Jap coilover.

Hi,
An opinion coming from someone in the drift scene (me)
BC coilovers are excellent quality and best bang for your buck.
I know of a LOT of drifters that use BC coilovers and i also use them in my big GZ20 soarer barge when drifting. After 2 years of solid use, they never had a problem.
the are nice and solid and have massive amounts of adjustability too!
They are built in Taiwain using parts from Trust/Greddy since they have gone under (read:bankrupt)
I will be buying another set for my new drift project very shortly.

Had them in the pulsar and now in the R32 and they are fantastic.
Far more compliant and adjustable than the Ksports.
They are also rebuildable here in australia I believe.
Just make sure you get the gold BR/RM/ER series and not the older re/blue v1's.

We ran HSD in the 32 GTR with no issues .

I used them in my s13 and r33, they were both daily's. Very good quality, very well priced and if i get into another import ill be using them again. Cant remember what spring rates i had but they were very firm.
Also the height adjustment is awesome, i had mine sitting 30mm off the ground on a stock kit and they werent wound all the way down.

Heard good things about BC's (no failure stories). On a side note ISC's are $1200 atm, down from $1500 which are also meant to be pretty good. I have them and have no complaints (also base height adjustable).

Type RA's (front and rear pillowball top mounts) I assume?
Do you think the rear pillowball top mounts would be too noisy/harsh for a 90% street car.
Anyone in general ditched their rear pillowballs for rubber top mounts because the ride quality was too annoying? Or is it hit and miss/vehicle dependent?

I got RS series in my R34 sedan and I'm more than happy with them and they have a lot of height adjustability. Definately good bang for ya buck

Not say they are all bad but to give you another insight.
There are plenty of stories of leaking, knocking and failed plates for BC coilovers if you do a quick google. Most within two years range. That said a lot of people seem to get warranty claims ok. So no angry posters are around.
ive clocked roughly 25,000kms onto my BC BR coilovers and they still feel like new :) no leaks or knocks here, very happy
