A POLICEMAN accused of using his Facebook page to post photos of drunken Aboriginal men in a country lock-up has resigned, amid an internal investigation into his conduct.

Senior Constable John Trenouth, a police officer with nine years experience, will officially leave the force on April 10.

A spokeswoman for Police Commissioner Karl O'Callaghan said the resignation had been accepted but an investigation concerning the allegations would continue.




This is the same cop that stickered my Monaro a couple of years ago and since told people I was "showing off".

They're all part of WAPOL at the end of the day, the point is there's much better fucking things the force could be directing it's resources towards. Two months and the cops are yet to interview someone they'll apparently be trying to send to jail for glassing me, because "he lives a fair way out of our way". Piss fucking weak.

I thought I recognised that name and it turns out I was unfortunate enough to encounter this Trenouth myself a couple of years ago. Like the boys said above, he was an absolute piece of shit. I had never imagined someone more keen on giving out a sticker, he went over my car for a good 10 minutes before reluctantly conceding there was nothing he could sticker it for.
